Méndez hired at KVDA

September 22, 2014 by Veronica Villafañe

Today is Astrid Méndez’s first day on the job as a Video Journalist at KVDA-60 Telemundo San Antonio.

This is Astrid’s first journalism job out of college.

“Since I was a child, it has been my dream to become a TV reporter and I’m very happy it’s finally happening after years of hard work,” says Astrid.

The newly-hired VJ was a finalist for the “ESPN Deportes Dream Job,” a national contest that offered the lucky winner the chance to become a reporter for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
