Hernández leaves WWL for WFAA

Mónica Hernández is leaving WWL, the CBS affiliate in New Orleans, to work as a reporter for another Gannett-owned station: WFAA, the ABC affiliate in Dallas.

Mónica starts the new job October 20.

Before joining WWL in October of 2010, Mónica spent almost 3 years as an anchor and general assignment reporter at WLBT in Jackson, Miss.

She previously worked briefly as a field producer/production assistant for WNBC in New York as part of a fellowship with the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
