Univision Houston wins 10, KUVN takes 7 and KWEX gets 2 Emmys

Univision Houston Emmys2014
Univision Houston won Emmys in 10 categories.

Three Univision O&Os in Texas won a total of 19 Emmys at the 12th annual Lone Star Emmy Awards, this past Saturday, October 25 at the Bayou City Music Theater in Houston.

The biggest winner was KXLN 45 in Houston, which swept 10 categories. Anchor Raúl Peimbert took home 3 statuettes.

Univision Dallas KUVN 23 won awards in 7 categories, while San Antonio’s KWEX 41 picked up 2 Emmys.
