NBCU’s Hispanic Enterprises hires República

NBCU Hispanic Enterprises - RepublicaNBCUniversal’s Hispanic Enterprises and Content has added República to its agency roster, reporting to Chief Marketing Officer Jacqueline Hernandez.

República will provide advertising creative, brand strategy, promotions and consumer engagement that will support the unit’s broadcast, cable and digital networks, including Telemundo and mun2 (soon to be NBC Universo), as well as its marketing, community relations and government affairs departments.

This new assignment expands the agency’s role beyond the advertising and marketing services it has been providing to Universal Orlando Resort since 2009.

República is led by its co-founders, Chairman & CEO Jorge A. Plasencia, a former Univision executive, and President & CCO Luis Casamayor.
