Telemundo Dallas hires Ramírez, promotes Flecha

Milmar Ramírez has been named weekend weather anchor for KXTX’s Noticiero Telemundo 39 in Dallas.

Her first day at the station is today, but she won’t be on the air until March.

With her arrival on weekends, Telemundo 39 has promoted Néstor Flecha to Chief Meteorologist for the station’s weekday newscasts at 4:30, 5 and 10 pm.

Milmar Ramírez will be the new weekend metereologist for Telemundo Dallas and with his promotion, Nestor Flecha moves to weekdays.

Milmar joins Telemundo 39 from KUVN Univision 23 Dallas, where she was a weekday meteorologist from 2014 to 2015.

She was previously a weather reporter for UniMiami Noticias, the Spanish-language newscast for UMTV, the University of Miami’s student-run cable television station.

Néstor joined Telemundo 39 in 2013 after working as a meteorologist for WAPA television in Puerto Rico.
