Baseball play-by-play veteran Ernesto Jerez gave ESPN Deportes’ its only Sports Emmy win this year. He picked up a statuette for Best On-Air Personality in the Spanish-language category.

This is ESPN Deportes’ third Sports Emmy win in the two years of eligibility.

Last year, the network won two awards for Studio Show in Spanish-language category, including SportsCenter and Nación ESPN.

Univision Deportes was honored for the first time, picking up two Sports Emmys.

The network was recognized in the following categories:

Outstanding Live Sports Coverage in Spanish
2014 FIFA World Cup

Outstanding Studio Show in Spanish
Fútbol Central

No other Spanish-language networks picked up Sports Emmys during the 36th Annual Sports Emmy® Awards presented at a special ceremony on Tuesday night in New York City.
