Sling TV launches Sling Latino

June 8, 2015 by Veronica Villafañe

Sling LatinoDish-owned streaming service Sling TV is redoubling its efforts to attract Latino millennial cord-cutters. Less than a month after it began offering Spanish-language “add-on” packages to its existing English-language lineup, it launched Sling Latino, a standalone service targeting customers only interested in Spanish-language channels, at a lower cost than its English-language base plan.

Viewers can pick from either the Sling Latino Paquete Esencial, which offers 16 live channels for $7-a-month or the 22-channel Paquete Total for $12-a-month without having to subscribe to Sling’s $20-a-month English-language base plan.

Both services also include on-demand content and a 3-day replay on select channels.

Sling Latino is also offering two country-specific packages – featuring channels from Colombia and Spain.

Here are the current Sling Latino offerings:

Paquete Total: Univision, UniMás, Galavisión, Univision Deportes Network, beIN Sports en Español, Azteca, Az Clic, Cinelatino, De Película, De Película Clásico, BabyTV, Cbeebies, Pasiones, NTN24, Univision tlnovelas, Az Corazón, Telehit, Bandamax, FOROtv, TeleFórmula, with AZ Cinema and Teleromántica coming soon.

España Pack: available as a standalone pack, or as an add-on. It includes Antena 3 and TV Española Internacional. MIS Películas and SupereÑe will be coming soon.
