Landivar leaves Univision for WOAI

Stephanie LandivarStephanie Landivar has crossed over into English-language news. She has started a new job as Digital Content Producer/Assignment Editor for WOAI News 4 and sister station and KABB Fox 29 in San Antonio. Her first day was yesterday.

“With this role I get to do the best of both worlds,” she tells Media Moves. “I will get to write and publish news stories/content for both stations WOAI and KABB website’s as well as manage social media platforms. At the same time, I will help the news team and the rest of the assignment editors and producers on gathering fresh new content for the newscasts.”

Stephanie previously spent 2 years as an assignment editor and news and social media producer for KWEX Univision 41 in San Antonio. Before that, she was a production assistant at KVDA Telemundo San Antonio.

“I am very excited about the opportunity,” she says about her cross-over to English-language news. “I look forward to the challenge of working in news from a different perspective. It feels like a natural progression for my career here in the US market”.

Stephanie is originally from Bolivia.
