Craig Geller (L) replaces Court Stroud as EVP

Geller hired as EVP Sales, Stroud exits Azteca América

September 10, 2015 by Veronica Villafañe

Azteca América has named Craig A. Geller Executive Vice President, Network Sales and Digital, effective immediately.

He succeeds Court Stroud, who exited the company on Monday, after almost two years in the role.

Geller will be based in New York and report to Manuel Abud, President and CEO, Azteca América.

Weller was most recently an entertainment and digital media consultant. He previously spent more than 3 years at NUVOtv, where he was SVP, Advertising Sales and Integrated Marketing. He helped lead the brand transformation from SíTV to NUVOtv and was responsible for changing the revenue model from an unrated cost per spot channel to Nielsen-rated CPM network.

Prior to NUVOtv, he was SVP, Network and Digital Sales at NBCU Telemundo, where he worked 15 years. He began at the network in 1995 as New York Sales Manager and Vice President. In November of 2000, he was promoted to SVP Network and Digital Sales and was one of the integration leads on the sale from SONY Pictures Entertainment to NBC.

Before joining Telemundo, Geller was an account executive/sales manager for National Cable Advertising (now NCC Media). He began his career as a sales representative for Procter & Gamble.
