Univision Digital has named Delia Rodríguez Deputy Managing Editor for Audience Engagement. She’ll report to Borja Echevarría, VP of Digital.
In this role, she’ll be tasked with helping establish editorial strategy to drive audience engagement and virality through the development of relevant, innovative multi-platform content tailored to the Spanish-speaking online community in the U.S.
Before joining Univision Digital, Rodríguez was Editor-in-Chief of Verne, the social media content website of Spain’s largest daily newspaper, El País. She was previously editor of El Huffington Post, launched El País and Condé Nast’s joint online fashion magazine S Moda and wrote the Trending Topics blog for El País.
Delia is also the author of the book “Memecracia,” an analysis of how the “meme” contagion and other viral phenomena are affecting contemporary society.
