The Telemundo Station Group today announced it has promoted three of its executives.
Osvaldo “Ozzie” Martínez has been upped from VP to Senior Vice President of News, Digital and Standards and Amanda Calpin from Vice President of Finance to Chief Financial Officer. Both will continue to report to President Manuel Martinez and work from the Telemundo Station Group (TSG) headquarters in Miramar, Florida.
Michael Chico has been promoted from SVP to Executive Vice President of Sales and remain in New York City. He’ll continue to report to Frank Comerford, Chief Revenue Officer and President of Commercial Operations, NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations.
Prior to joining the TSG, Martínez was Assistant News Director at WNBC 4 in New York.
Before coming aboard the TSG in January 2012, Calpin was Finance Director for NBC’s WTVJ/WSCV in Miami.
Chico returned to NBCUniversal in 2014 after first joining the company in 2002 and working for the MSG Network, Fox Sports Network, the New York Knicks and the New York Rangers.
