Univision Digital is aiming for short and sweet for the launch of its new video platform. Called Udisea, a play on the Spanish word for odyssey, the new digital channel targets multicultural, Spanish-speaking millennials.
Udisea will feature short-form video content in Spanish produced by Univision talent and Latino celebrities and will include original web series like “We Need to Talk,” a romantic comedy that launched on Univision.com in October.
The channel can be accessed through Univision.com and on YouTube, with content also available through social platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
The launch is part of the Univision’s strategy to reach younger, digitally-engaged users.
Udisea is the latest addition to the company’s portfolio of digital properties targeting to multicultural millennials, which includes FUSION, El Rey Network, Flama, and The Root.
