She will succeed César Perales, who has held the position since 2011 and is retiring.
Rosado was the first female Editor and Publisher of New York’s El Diario La Prensa. She exited the paper in 2013, after holding that role for 14 years. She was previously Editor-in-Chief from 1995 to 1999. Before that, she was as a producer of public affairs programming at WPIX.
Her departure from El Diario followed the sale of parent company impreMedia to Argentina’s La Nación and arrival of new management. At the time, she was named Publisher Emeritus of El Diario.
Rosado is currently a leadership consultant and a Distinguished Lecturer at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
