The pay-TV operator reached a truce with Univision today over its transmission fee dispute. Thanks to the temporary deal, the Spanish-language network will unblock its signal and air the debate at 9 pm ET.
Univision’s signal has been blocked on AT&T U-verse since last Friday, March 4. Both companies accuse each other for the blackout.
Univision’s María Elena Salinas and Jorge Ramos and the Post’s Karen Tumulty will moderate the debate, which will take place at Miami Dade College.
The debate will be simulcast in English on CNN and on Fusion. It will also be live streamed on Univision.com, WashingtonPost.com, CNN.com and FUSION.net.
UPDATE 3/9/15: Univision confirms its signal will be unblocked starting at 8 pm ET. The network today sent AT&T a request to continue distributing its signal to U-Verse subscribers for 24 hours immediately following the conclusion of tonight’s debate.
