Fusion partners with The Young Turks for election show

May 9, 2016 by Veronica Villafañe

John Iadarola and Ana Kasparian
John Iadarola and Ana Kasparian will host the Fusion-TYT show to debut in September.

Aiming to increase its presidential election coverage, Fusion today announced it’s launching a weekly, one-hour show with the hugely popular The Young Turks (TYT).

Scheduled to debut on September 5, the yet unnamed program will have a 12-week run on Fusion’s cable channel and digital properties.

Ana Kasparian and John Iadarola will host the show, which will be taped in front of a live audience in college campuses around the country.

TYT founder Cenk Uygur, other “Turks” including Jimmy Dore, Ben Mankiewicz, Hannah Cranston, and Kim Horcher, as well as celebrity guest hosts, will join Fusion talent during the series to talk politics, current events and discuss key campus issues and pop culture.

TYT is the largest online news show with over 200 million views a month and more than 3 billion total views on The Young Turks YouTube channel and Facebook page.
