Beatriz Moncayo has left her job as anchor Telemundo Las Vegas last week. She had been at the station since 2014.
Today, she begins a new role as Assistant News Director and anchor at Mira TV in Miami. She joins the team of “El Ciudadano,” hosted by Venezuelan journalist Leopoldo Castillo. The show debuts tonight at 9 pm ET.
Prior to working for Telemundo Las Vegas, Beatriz was a correspondent for NTN24, RCN’s 24-hour news channel. She was previously L.A. bureau chief, reporter and host for Mega TV. Before that, she worked at Telefutura as an anchor and reporter.
Mira TV is a Miami-based station that launched in 2014.
