KVEA and KMEX score wins at LA Emmys

KVEA Emmy wins 2016
Members of the KVEA 52 news team celebrates their Emmy wins.

Univision and Telemundo’s L.A. flagship stations picked up an equal number of Emmys.

Each station won awards in five categories during the 68th Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards this past Saturday, July 23.

Among the station’s recognitions, Telemundo’s KVEA 52 won an award for its 6 am morning newscast and its local community show “Enfoque,” while Univision’s KMEX 34 won in the news category special and for live special events for its Rose Parade coverage.
