Rosario moves to weekdays; Rullán stays solo; Crespo adds duties at WNJU

L to R: Nilda Rosario, Alberto Rullán and Yaima Crespo.

WNJU Telemundo 47 is rearranging its talent pool for the launch of its new 5 pm newscast on September 26.

Nilda Rosario, who jumped ship from Univision as weekend anchor in March of 2015, is moving to weekdays.

She will be teamed up again with her former weekend co-anchor Yaima Crespo for the new 5 pm show.

Yaima, who moved to weekdays at 6 and 11 pm last year, adds another half hour to her weekday anchoring duties.

With Nilda’s departure from weekends, the station has opted to keep Alberto Rullán as a sole anchor of Noticiero 47 Telemundo’s Saturday and Sunday’s 5:30 and 11 pm shows. Alberto joined WNJU in July of last year.

Jorge Ramos and Yaima will continue to anchor the 5:30, 6 and 11 pm.

The new 5 PM newscast will replace Telemundo Network’s half-hour show, The Best of Caso Cerrado.
