DJ Obie Diaz switches radio stations in Orlando

Obie DiazCox Media Group is moving DJ Obie Diaz from Rhythmic Contemporary to Country.

Diaz is leaving his morning co-host spot at Orlando’s WPYO Power 95.3 FM to co-host the morning show with Ashley Stegbauer on WWKA 92.3 FM in the same market.

He starts the new role on October 10.

Diaz had been working at Power 95.3 FM since 1999.

He started his career when he was 17 at 100.7 KISS FM in Tampa and eventually worked his way up to a night show producer spot in 1997.
