Trejo joins KVUE as MMJ

November 3, 2016 by Veronica Villafañe

Rebecca TrejoRebecca Trejo has started a new job at Austin’s KVUE News as a multi-media journalist.

She currently reports Mondays and Tuesdays at 5 and 6 pm and shoots and edits the rest of the week.

Before joining the KVUE news team in October, she worked two years as a reporter at KBMT 12News in Beaumont, after graduating from The University of Houston in 2014.

Rebecca is a Houston native. “There is literally no job in the newsroom she can’t do,” says KVUE’s News Director Mike Redding. “The fact that she was also raised in Texas and is bilingual makes her a perfect fit for Austin. She can do it all and explain today’s news to any audience.”
