Univision launches immigration help search tool

January 26, 2017 by Veronica Villafañe

Univision-buscador inmigracionA day after President Trump signed two executive orders that have rattled the immigrant community, Univision announced the launch of an interactive digital tool designed to help immigrants find non-profits that can provide free or low cost legal help near where they live.

The Legal Assistance Search Tool for Immigrants is available in the immigration section of UnivisionNoticias.com beginning today. It will also be accessible via links in all immigration articles published in Univision News platforms.

The search tool uses data provided by immi.org. Immi was created by the Immigration Advocates Network and Pro Bono Net.

Univision News warns it doesn’t guarantee the provision of services by any of the organizations listed in the search tool or results of those services and emphasizes it is limited to providing contact information on available nonprofit immigration/legal organizations in users’ local geographical areas.
