KBLR Telemundo Las Vegas has hired Harry Ruiz as Sports Anchor and Javier Cervantes as a MultiMedia Journalist.

Both men have already started their new jobs on the station’s weekday newscasts.

Prior to joining Telemundo Las Vegas, Ruiz worked as the Sports Director for KINT Univision El Paso. He was also play-by-play radio announcer for the Spanish broadcasts of University of Texas at El Paso’s football and basketball teams. He started his television career as a Sports Anchor and Reporter for Televisa Laguna in Mexico.
