The 31-year-old Solarte was arrested in March after allegedly trying to flee police after a traffic stop. He was booked on a third-degree felony charge of evading arrest.
The D.A.’s dismissal request states: “unable to prove BRD [Beyond Reasonable Doubt] – unclear report.”
The case against Solarte has been dismissed with prejudice, making it a final judgement. That means Solarte can’t be charged again or indicted for the alleged crime.
The dismissal was signed on April 27, 2017, but Solarte’s defense attorneys didn’t reveal it to the press until last week.
