Atlanta Telemundo and Univision stations score big Emmy wins

Atlanta’s Univision 34 received 17 Emmys and Telemundo 47 picked up 13 awards. While Univision led in the award count, Telemundo scored the three top honors – Newscast, News Excellence and Overall Excellence categories during the 43rd annual NATAS Southeast Regional Chapter awards ceremony held Saturday, June 10.

Both stations competed in Spanish-language categories, which are judged and scored separately from English-language entries.

Below are the winning categories for each station.
