Telemundo unveils $250M new headquarters

April 10, 2018 by Veronica Villafañe

Telemundo Center Building

Telemundo’s brand new, futuristic company headquarters is officially open for business. The Comcast-owned Spanish-language network division unveiled the three-story 500,000 square-foot Telemundo Center during a grand opening ceremony in Miami yesterday – just over two years since it announced plans for its construction in February 2016.

The company invested more than $250 million to build the custom-designed state-of-the-art facility, which will house Telemundo Network, Telemundo Deportes, Noticias Telemundo, Telemundo Studios, Universo channel, Telemundo International, as well as its digital operations.

César Conde, Chairman, NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises and NBCUniversal International Group says the aim of Telemundo Center is “to create the workplace of the future.”

The building isn’t quite finished yet, but staffers started to move in to the new digs in phases several weeks ago, with the goal of having all employees in the new headquarters before the start of the 2018 World Cup.
