Ashley Paredez

Paredez moves up from Fox Austin to Dallas

June 26, 2018 by Veronica Villafañe

This is Ashley Paredez’s final week at Fox 7 in Austin, where she has been a weekend weeknight anchor and reporter since 2013.

She leaves the station, but stays within the Fox family as she moves up 34 markets to Dallas, where she’ll be joining KDFW Fox 4 as a reporter for morning show “Good Day.”

“I came to Austin wanting to become a better journalist and I’m leaving with so much more. I am forever grateful and truly blessed to have worked at KTBC, FOX 7 Austin. I’m ready to take on this new chapter of my life,” she wrote on her Facebook page.

She starts at Fox 4 on Monday, July 9.

A San Antonio native, Paredez began her career at KFDA-TV/KZBA-TV in Amarillo as a producer. She would later become a reporter and weekend anchor.

During her final year at KFDA, she helped redesign the NewsChannel 10 Early Show, and was part of the “A-team” as a morning anchor, reporter and executive producer.
