Fernando Hurtado

Hurtado joins ATTN: as producer

Fernando Hurtado has started a new job as a producer and editor for digital media company ATTN:, based in the company’s Hollywood headquarters.

He’ll be helping produce the platform’s flagship videos on topics like the environment, parenting, innovation and social justice.

His first day on the job was Monday, August 20.

Hurtado was most recently a producer at Circa, the digital video news outlet relaunched by the Sinclair Broadcast Group in July 2016.

He joined Circa in March 2016 as a multimedia journalist, based out of the company’s headquarters in Arlington, VA. He moved to the company’s Los Angeles bureau last year, where he was promoted to producer.

While at Circa, he covered the Las Vegas shooting massacre, the San Bernardino school shooting and the DNC.

He previously did freelance work as a social video producer work for Fusion and interned for Univision, Telemundo, Huffington Post while at USC.
