Telemundo 40 Río Grande Valley has added María Pérez to its weather anchor team.
Pérez will do the weather segment for Telemundo 40’s 11 am newscast, as well as morning weather briefs.
She replaces Lluvia Vidaña, who moves to the 5 and 10 pm shows.
Pérez will make her on-air debut on Monday, August 13.
Before joining Telemundo 40, she worked as a weather anchor for KNVO Univision 48 in the Rio Grande Valley and Fox News of South Texas from 2015 to 2018.
Telemundo 40 launched the 11 am newscast, along with other Telemundo stations in January.
