Rosado leaves E! to become SVP of Digital News at Telemundo

August 22, 2018 by Veronica Villafañe

Romina Rosado is taking over a new role within NBCUniversal. She left E!, where she was SVP of Global Content, to become SVP of Digital News for Telemundo.

She starts her newly created position next Monday, August 27.

Rosado will be based in Miami at the new Telemundo Center. She’ll report to Luis Fernández, EVP of Telemundo network news.

In her new role, Rosado will lead the development and execution of all digital programs across Noticias Telemundo and Digital News. Working closely with the editorial news, technology, sales, marketing and research teams, she’ll create and oversee strategies to enhance the immediate consumer experience across multiple distribution points, as well as identify and form new product and market opportunities for the company.

Experienced in creating content, building an audience, and driving monetization across linear and digital platforms, Rosado will also collaborate with Peter Blacker, EVP, Revenue Strategy and Innovation at Telemundo Enterprises.

Rosado spent the last six years at E! in Los Angeles, where she oversaw all content, news gathering, audience development, and product for the company’s news division. During her time at E! News, she helped expand programming and grow the brand’s footprint to more than 1 billion engagements per month in over 160 countries, making E! News.

She was previously Executive Producer at US Weekly, where she was responsible for launching and executing the company’s digital expansion.
