Rodriguez leaving Reuters for CNBC

September 6, 2018 by Veronica Villafañe

Salvador Rodriguez is moving on to a new job.

He’s leaving Reuters, where he has been a technology correspondent for Reuters for the past year, to join CNBC as a reporter covering Facebook and other tech companies.

He’ll continue to be based in San Francisco.

His last day at Reuters will be Wednesday, September 12. He takes a brief break and starts the new gig at CNBC on Monday, September 17.

Prior to Reuters, Rodriguez spent a year as a staff reporter for Inc. Magazine.

He previously worked as a Sillicon Valley corresondent for the International Business Times. He also worked as a technology staff writer at the Los Angeles Times from 2012 to 2014.
