González started his journalism career in his native Honduras at Radio Morazan in 1957.

“My Father, was a a true gentleman. Along with the tremendous love he had for his family, he had just as much devotion to his audience. He was passionate about informing and educating the community on things that could affect them in this society,” his son Fernando González shared with Media Moves. “I will miss my Father every day of my life, but I thank God that he allowed me to be the son of the legendary Antonio González. You will always be my Champion Pops!”
