Daniel Rivera has started a new role this week at Telemundo’s O&O in Washington D.C. He returns to an on-air position as a multimedia journalist at the station.
Rivera joined WZDC Telenoticias D.C. as a videographer in 2014 when it was a ZGS-owned Telemundo affiliate. He would later become an MMJ and backup anchor.
After ZGS sold all of its stations to Telemundo, the new owners rebranded and relaunched the newscast with some staffing changes, moving Rivera to a digital media producer role.
Rivera was previously executive producer and host of the Fairfax Public Access television show “Arriba Juventud” from 2012 to 2014.
Prior to his move to the mainland, he pursued a singing career in his native Puerto Rico.
