Hurtado leaves anchor desk for Bloomberg reporting job

November 6, 2018 by Veronica Villafañe

Viviana Hurtado has left Ohio for a move to New York City, where she has joined Bloomberg as an on-air reporter, covering global business, finance, and economic news.

Her first day on the new job was yesterday, but there’s no set date yet for her on-air debut.

Hurtado was most recently evening anchor at WTOL, Toledo’s CBS affiliate, since 2015. She wrapped her three-year contract in October.

She previously spent 10 years as a network correspondent, political analyst and show host, working for media outlets such as NPR, MSNBC, CNN, and Univision.
