Lorraine Caceres

Cáceres moves from Univision 23 to UNews

December 13, 2018 by Veronica Villafañe

Lorraine Cáceres has moved on to a new role within Univision. She has left her post as video journalist at Univision 23 in Miami to join the network’s recently launched English-language newscast UNews as a reporter and back up anchor.

She’ll now be filing stories for the weekday afternoon two-hour show and contribute stories for Univision’s network newscast as needed.

She started the job this week.

Cáceres joined Univision 23 as a freelance VJ in May 2017, before getting hired full time at the local station.

She previously spent three years as a video journalist for Telemundo 39 in Dallas.

Cáceres kicked off her journalism career in 2010 as an associate producer for Telemundo network’s “Al Rojo Vivo.” She also worked as an assignment editor and field producer for the network.
