Camila Jiménez-Villa, the former CEO of Univision’s production studio Story House Entertainment, and Silvana Aguirre, creator and showrunner of “El Chapo,” have teamed up to launch their own production company.

Called The Immigrant, the company will be based in Los Angeles and Miami and produce premium content in the U.S., Latin America and Spain, focusing on multicultural stories and talent that will appeal to international audiences.
