Telemundo Denver promotes Zugasti to anchor

February 6, 2019 by Veronica Villafañe

Telemundo Denver has promoted Rosy Zugasti to news anchor, effective immediately.

She officially joins co-anchor Miguel Bedoy on Noticiero Telemundo Denver at 5 and 10 PM.

She has been filling in as news anchor since Pamela Padilla’s departure in November 2018.

Zugasti started at Telemundo Denver as an MMJ in January 2016. She helped launch “Telemundo Denver Responde” in 2017, reporting for the consumer investigative unit.

She has also hosted “Desde el Capitolio,” a weekly segment featuring interviews and the latest political news.

Before moving to Telemundo Denver, Zugasti spent five years at KINT Univision El Paso as an MMJ, fill-in news and weather anchor and producer.
