Cox Media Group promotes Lujan

March 8, 2019 by Veronica Villafañe

Alana Lujan has been promoted to director of sales for Cox Media Group’s Jacksonville radio cluster.

In her new role, she’ll lead the sales efforts for News 104.5 WOKV, Hot 99.5, Easy 102.9, 95.1 WAPE, The Eagle 96.9, Power 106.1, X106.5 and ESPN 690AM. She’ll also continue to collaborate with the company’s TV properties – WJAX and WFOX – on sales programs.

Since May 2018 until her promotion, Lujan was integrated digital sales manager, overseeing all digital sales for the company’s two television and seven radio stations.

She previously worked for the Cox Media Group in Houston for six years, first as local sales manager before getting promoted to general sales manager in 2013.

Lujan joined the CMG team in 2006 as an account executive for the company’s Houston radio stations.
