Telemundo 51 adds reporter Yvette Lewis

Telemundo 51 has hired Yvette Lewis as a weekday reporter for morning show “Primera Edición,” which airs from 5 to 7 am.

According to the Miami station, she is not replacing anyone. She is an addition to the news team.

She starts the new job today.

Lewis joins the Telemundo-owned WSCV from América TeVe, where she had been a reporter and anchor since December 2009. Her last day at the independent station was March 6.

She previously worked as a sports anchor at cable station Telemiami.
