Wolfe Pereira leaves Quantcast for CEO role at Encantos

March 13, 2019 by Veronica Villafañe

Steven Wolfe Pereira has left Quantcast, where he was chief marketing and communications officer since 2017, to become CEO of Encantos Media Studios.

In his new role, he’ll lead the direct-to-consumer, multicultural entertainment and education company focused on children 14 and under.

He succeeds his wife Nuria Santamaria Wolfe, who has been CEO since 2015, when they founded the company along with Chief Creative Officer Susie Jaramillo.

Santamaria Wolfe will continue on the company’s executive team as CMO.

The executive changes come with the relocation of Encantos, which moves its corporate headquarters from San Francisco to Culver City, CA on April 1, 2019.

With a mission to build family entertainment and education brands from the perspective of people of color, Encantos designs and develops global brands crafted by diverse creators telling authentic character-driven stories with universal appeal via content, publishing, e-commerce and consumer products.

Wolfe Pereira has previously worked in marketing, communications and executive roles at Quantcast, Datalogix, Oracle, Starcom and Univision.
