Cox Media Group taps Aguilera as GSM of Houston stations

Leti Aguilera has been hired as general sales manager of Cox Media Group’s radio station cluster in Houston.

She starts her new role on Monday, April 8.

Aguilera leaves her hometown of Chicago, where she has built her media career.

Most recently, she was a sales account executive for Entercom’s classic hip-hop and R&B WBMX 104.3-FM.

Aguilera was previously Regional VP for Spanish Broadcasting System and general manager of regional Mexican WLEY 107.9-FM. She also worked for SBS’s WLEY-FM from 2005 to 2012.

Her past experience includes positions as a Sales Manager for HCJ Penn National Gaming and an Account Executive for CBS Radio’s WBBM-FM 96.3FM.
