Gonzalez joins Spectrum News Austin

Sandra Gonzalez has started a new job as associate producer at Spectrum News Austin.

She joins the cable news operation after spending six months at KPRC in Houston as a social media producer and digital editor.

A longtime television reporter, Gonzalez previously worked at KSNV, the NBC affiliate in Las Vegas from 2012 to 2016. Before that, she spent six years in New Orleans as a digital journalist at ABC affiliate WGNO-26 and a general assignment reporter at WVUE, Fox 8.

Her past experience includes TV reporter stints at KGET in Bakersfield and KXAS and KDAF in Dallas.

She started her broadcast career as a radio reporter and anchor.
