Telemundo Denver adds Ochoa as sports anchor

July 18, 2019 by Veronica Villafañe

Telemundo Denver has a new sports anchor. The station hired Alejandra Ochoa to cover the sports desk of KDEN’s weekday newscasts at 4, 4:30, 5, and 10 pm.

She replaces Erasmo Provenza, who has moved on to host Telemundo network’s reality competition “Exatlón.”

A native of El Salvador, this is Ochoa’s first broadcast job in the U.S.

She made her on-air debut on Telemundo Denver this week.

Ochoa was most recently sports anchor for Canal 12 in El Salvador since 2011.
