Carlos Slim’s startup U.S. network Nuestra Visión launches app

Looking to expand its reach, start-up Spanish-language network Nuestra Visión has launched a free digital mobile app offering 24/7 access to its content.

Launched in 2017, Nuestra Visión is part of billionaire Carlos Slim’s Mexico-based mobile network operator América Móvil. It specifically targets Mexicans and Mexican-Americans living in the U.S. That’s why the company scheduled the launch for September 16, Mexico’s Independence Day.

CEO Victor Herrera says the launch is a milestone that will help the network grow as the company continues to work on digital subchannel distribution.

The app is available on iOS, but issues with Google’s new app review policy has delayed the android release.
