Roxann Martinez Fisher

Martinez Fisher joins KAVU as News Director

Roxann Martinez Fisher has returned to the news business. She has joined KAVU Newscenter 25’s as news director.

This is her second week leading the news team at the ABC affiliate in Victoria, TX.

She made the move from Houston, where she had been working in public relations since 2015.

Before that, Martinez Fisher spent four years as news assignment manager at KENS 5 in San Antonio. She previously worked at KXLN Univision 45 in Houston as assignment editor and special projects producer from 2005 to 2009.

Her past experience includes jobs at News 24 Houston, KPRC 2 and FOX 26 KRIV.
