Vanessa Claudio has joined Telemundo’s afternoon gossip show “Suelta la Sopa” as co-host.

A Puerto Rican beauty pageant contestant who built a television career in Mexico, Claudio’s arrival to the show marks her debut on U.S. Hispanic television.

While in Mexico, Claudio hosted TV shows such as “Este es mi Estilo,” “Venga la Alegría” and “Exatlón México.”

She also participated as a guest star in reality shows, including “MasterChef México” and “México Baila.”

A model and actress, Claudio also performed in several Mexican theater plays and the TV series “El Pantera.”

She started her new role this week, co-hosting alongside Jorge Bernal, alongside Carolina Sandoval, Juan Manuel Cortés and Luis Borrego.
