Telemundo launches revamped ARV with new hosts Jessica Carrillo and Antonio Texeira

October 26, 2020 by Veronica Villafañe

Telemundo has revamped “Al Rojo Vivo,” with a new look, interactive format and new hosts.

Starting today, Jessica Carrillo and Antonio Texeira are the face of the show in its new phase.

The show will now air live from a redesigned studio at Telemundo Center.

The changes follow Telemundo’s ouster of María Celeste Arrarás in August. She had been the host of the network’s afternoon magazine since its inception in 2002.

Prior to her promotion to co-host of ARV, Carrillo worked on the show and multiple network specials. She previously worked at Telemundo Las Vegas as news and weather reporter and co-host of the local newscast. Before that, she covered entertainment for Telemundo Los Angeles’ “Acceso Total.”

Texeira joins Telemundo network from Telemundo Las Vegas, where he was news anchor since December 2016. Before that, he was news anchor for RT International Network in Russia. He previously worked as a news reporter in Spain for top networks like TVE, Antena 3, Telecinco and Cuatro.
