Latino management team buys majority stake in Fuse Media

November 19, 2020 by Veronica Villafañe

A Latino-led management group, headed by Fuse Media CEO Miguel “Mike” Roggero, has acquired a majority, controlling interest in the media company, founded by Jeff Valdez 16 years ago.

What started out as SíTV has since evolved into the current Fuse Media, which includes Fuse and FM (Fuse Music) linear and VOD channels, Fuse Digital, OTT channels and Fuse-branded apps, and live events.

The deal is effective immediately. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Roggero will continue to serve as CEO of the media company. The senior Latino management group includes Judi Lopez, Head of Content Distribution and Fernando Romero, Head of Ad Sales.

More details of the transaction, new board, and the company’s new phase are available on Forbes.
