Barely 10 months since joining the founding editorial team of dot.LA, Rachel Uranga has been promoted to Managing Editor.
Uranga, one of five journalists hired to launch the online startup, was previously a reporter.
Prior to dot.LA, Uranga was a reporter for the Los Angeles Business Journal and the Los Angeles Daily News.
She has also worked as a Mexico-based market correspondent for Reuters.
