January 21, 2021 by Veronica Villafañe

Castalia Communications has hired Nicolás Coates as its new SVP of Distribution and New Business.

Based in Denver, he’ll be responsible for new business strategy, expansion and distribution of Castalia’s portfolio of brands.

He’ll be reporting directly to Luis Torres-Bohl, president of Castalia Communications.

Coates, who over the past year focused on a consulting practice, previously spent 7 years in several roles at DISH Network, including Hispanic market brand manager and senior content acquisition manager, before becoming Head of Sling TV Latino. He left the company in January 2020.
