Yomara López leaves Univision Sacramento for job at Telemundo 48

January 25, 2021 by Veronica Villafañe Leave a Comment

Yomara López is leaving KUVS-TV Univision Sacramento, where she has worked as a multi-media journalist and anchor since 2018.

Her last day at Univision 19 is Wednesday, January 27.

She’s moving a little further south to join KSTS Telemundo 48 Area de la Bahia as reporter and multi-media journalist.

She’ll be creating content for the station’s digital platforms and report for the station’s OTT newscasts.

López will start at the San Jose-based station on Monday, February 1.

Prior to Univision Sacramento, she was a reporter and MMJ at Telemundo Austin. She previously worked at Telemundo Oklahoma.

A native of Bogotá, Colombia, she got her start in broadcasting as an associate producer at Telemundo 51 in Miami.
